The school has an environmentally friendly generator which ensures that the electricity supply to the school is uninterrupted. This means that our air cooling systems and other electrical and electronic gadgets, fixtures remain constantly on.
A safe and secure environment is a prerequisite for effective teaching and learning. Threats to the safety and security of people and property can arise from natural hazards – for example earthquake, floods and storms – or from human actions – such as vandalism, arson, and violent crime. While catastrophic events and human tragedies cannot be eliminated entirely, there is a role for facility designers, institutional managers, emergency response teams, and post-crisis intervention in mitigating their negative impact.
Keeping school safe requires planning and constant vigilance. It's not just a matter of locking all the doors and windows any more. DPS have to be aware of electronic threats including stealing confidential data and more. School safety has to be everyone's responsibility. Everybody, from the head of school to the maintenance staff, can be your eyes and ears.
To ensure that students have the best possible hygiene, we employ external contractors to undertake cleaning and laundry within the school. These meet the highest possible professional standards and maintain a highly efficient service. However, we still expect students to be responsible for their own belongings and personal space and we try to build personal responsibility alongside our high quality services.
Security is also contracted to professional firms and the school has over ten security staff on duty at any time.As a result of these services, our students can enjoy a perfect atmosphere for work and rest free from all anxiety.
